Farient Advisors works with private companies, as well as venture- and private equity-backed companies.

In doing so, we develop an understanding of the owners’ investment objectives, including growth, cash flow, stability, and exit strategies, as well as the business objectives and talent needs of the organization.  In addition to offering similar services that we provide to public companies, we also cater to the special needs of private companies, such as developing valuation methodologies for long-term incentive plans, and understanding the trade-offs between receiving illiquid vs. marketable securities as incentives.
