
Compensation committees continue to be center stage and the fire keeps getting hotter. Recent legislation has focused all stakeholders and onlookers, from the government to investors, to the press and analysts, on actions taken by the board of directors. With the first year of Say on Pay behind us, this means more adjustments for compensation committees and their advisors to prep and plan for proxy season 2012. Executive compensation, particularly Pay for Performance, remains a hot button issue for institutional investors.
