January 1, 2009 - Farient Advisors expands its consulting team at its San Francisco office and establishes its presence in New York

Since its founding just over a year ago, Farient has served nearly two dozen clients across an array of industries.  Many clients engage with Farient on an annual "subscription" basis, whereby clients retain Farient to assist them throughout the entire compensation planning cycle.  Farient works with clients on a full spectrum of executive compensation challenges, such as goal-setting and equity strategies in a difficult economy, designing compensation programs and structures pursuant to a merger or other type of transaction, better aligning pay with performance, and compensating Board Directors in today's demanding environment.

In 2008, Farient delivered this work through its San Francisco and Los Angeles offices.  In October 2008, Patrick Petrillo joined the firm as a Vice President, bringing over 15 years of corporate compensation and consulting experience.  Patrick joins John Borneman, Senior Vice President, Client Delivery, in Farient's San Francisco office.  On January 1, 2009, the firm further expanded by merging with Three Lens Advisors, co-founded by Todd Gershkowitz and Eva Shah.  Todd, with over 20 years of experience, will serve as a Senior Vice President.   Eva, with five years of experience, will be a Director at Farient.  Both are located in New York.

In 2008, the firm built the platform to deliver differentiated services around the Three Ps: executive Pay, corporate Performance, and governance Processes.  In 2009, Farient will continue to serve its clients at the highest possible levels with an outstanding and expanded group of colleagues.
